Welcome to Help !  Here you will find the information you need to use the site builder.  The best way to get started is to take one of the video tutorials. The tutorials will give you a good feel for how to use the tool.  If you then have questions, please refer to these Help pages.

Help is divided into two parts:-

1. The Control Panel shows you how to maintain your sites (create, rename, publish, delete).  This is where you will start in creating your first site.
   
2. The Site Editor is where you will spend most of your time.  This is where you edit your site by entering text and images.  You can also publish your site from the Site Editor.  

          These are the main topics you will need to learn about

• The Tree List is the the main menu for the Site Editor.  It lets you select the individual site components to work on (e.g. pages, stylesheets, templates) and create new ones
• Pages are the fundamental building blocks of a web site.  This topic describes how to create and edit pages.  Within this topic there are several sub-topics that are essential
  • Editing Pages shows you all of the tools needed to edit a page
  • Boxes - A page is made up of individual boxes.  This topic describes the kind of boxes you can have on your pages and how to create and edit them. 

  Depending on the version of the site builder you have you will also want to learn about these sub-topics:

  • Style - Shows you how to use page masters for the common elements of your pages, stylesheets to control formatting and palettes to control color.
  • Content - Shows you how to keep common content such as images and text that will be inserted in multiple pages.
