Page Functions I

(Create, Rename, Clone, Move)

Create a  new Page

In the tree list panel, click on , then select:

Creates a new blank page.  A new blank page, called 'New Page'  will appear without any page masters (headers).  You may overtype the name of the page in the box above the page tree.

Creates a page from the list of 'pre-fab' pages. This gives you a choice of layouts for various purposes (e.g. Photo Album, Product Gallery, FAQ, etc).

(Some versions of the site builder have a "New Page" button which creates a pre-fab page)

The New Page will appear in the Work Area and may be edited.

Rename a Page

Select the page you wish to rename.  The page name will appear in the tree list text field.  Type in the new page name, then click Submit  or press Enter.

Clone a Page

Select the page you wish to clone, then click Clone .  A copy (clone) of the page will be created immediately following the selected template, and the original page name will appear in the tree list text field.  Type in the new page name, then click  Submit or press Enter.

Move a Page

Click on the Page you wish to move, then drag it onto the page or folder under which you wish to place it.  When dragging to a folder, the page will be placed within the folder if you drop the page on the folder itself, and after the page if you drop it on the text (name) of the page.
