(Tables - Insert Table)

 

To insert a new table, place the cursor in the box, preferably at the position where you wish to place the table.  Click the Edit/Create Table button  on the Edit Layout tab, and the Insert Table dialog box will appear.  Select your desired options, then click the Insert Table button.

Insert Table Options

 

Table Size (in Pixels)

Rows/Columns:  # of rows/columns in the table.

Row Height:  Height of each row in the table.

Column Width:  Width of each column in the table.

 

Table Colors

Table Color:  Background color of the entire table.

First Row Color:  Background color of first row (usually used as a header row)

Remaining Rows Color:  Background color of rows after the first row.

Space and Padding

Cell Padding:  Space between the cell border and cell contents.

Cell Spacing:  Space between cells.

 

Table Borders

Width:  The width (in pixels) of the table borders.

Color:  The color of all lines in the table.

 

Note that when you are in Edit Mode, borders will appear around your table even if the width is set to zero.  This makes it easier to see the table cells.
